I need new summer tires and I'm hesitating between the Falken ZIEX 912 and the Nokian eNTYRE.
I have really good snow tires, so these summer tires need to be just that: summer tires.
Any thoughts?

There's a lot of sand that blows across the roads here -- I wonder if those Michelin Sport Cups will work well in that environment

Those 2 brands you mention are good quality. As for Nokian they make the best snow tire (hakapelletta).
May i suggest General Exclaim.I'm riding these on an Audi (225/50/16)and are great on dry and wet surfaces.Strictly a summer tire.My dad purchased Marshall for his Intrepid, and they seem to fit his needs, with the low mileage he does.Good luck.

You can do reviews of the tires you're interested in at tirerack.com. Good luck!

Good Morning, tlhIngan. Check it out on tirerack.com. They offer many selections and have excellent writeups on each tire sold. You can even call them for additional information. That site is good for informational purposes and you don't have to buy them there if it is more convenient to do so locally.

I have no knowledge of the tires you mentioned. Best Wishes :-) .

bluenvoy -- definitely a Canadian and North-Eastern US thing. Our roads get covered by snow and ice for days sometimes weeks at a time after a snowstorm. Even if that wasn't the case, the pavement and tires get so cold, regular all-season tires just don't have any grip and people using them easily skid off the road.

kemord -- it's for a big a$$ Intrepid. I drive like I'm going somewhere (wink-wink), and since I'll be alternating between 2 vehicles, these tires will probably age out before miling out. Dry and wet grip is what I'm looking for.

Very happy with Michelin HydroEdge in summer and Michelin X-Ice2 in winter. It must be said that we have hardly had a winter here in Toronto for the past few years, but on a snow and freezing rain slicked highway to Ottawa (250 miles NW) I was amazed at the bite of the X-Ice.

What do you drive, what is your driving behavior? Is noise an issue to you? are you looking for performance, or longevity?
