In a lot of places outside of the corn belt there is just not enough demand to justify most stations putting in E85 pumps.

So does gasoline. This is why corrosion inhibitors are added to both.

Do you really want Ethanol? It causes corrosion to the engine, it does NOT save on fuel mileage.....

Yes. that's what he would have to do if the E85 mandate you want happened. End result would be less people would buy FFVs, so less E85 would be purchased, which is the opposite of what you claim to want.

Silverstreaker, glad you agree... good thing the vehicle can use e10... and just imagine if it was made to optimize e85.. JohnK086 would get even worse mileage......
Hey John I think you could make a road trip to Cleveland... They have some e85 stations..
Or you could just use the e10..

reb4 wants to mandate that you can only buy E85 if you own an FFV. How do you think that would work for you?
Have you told your local service stations that you would buy E85 if they carried it?

The price isn't right for E-85... It needs to be 20% to 30% lower to make up for less mpg...it is only about 8%- 10% less in my area.

You're not missing anything unless you like poor fuel mileage. The average fuel economy earned with today's flex-fuel vehicles running E85 is horrendous.
