Well Merlin made a big mistake. Can't blame him for listening to the great dragon about Mordred but it took a twist no one expected when he advised Arthur not to accept magic.

Ok, I just watched the first show of the new (and final) season. My first thought was, not another traitor among our midst storyline!!! But Gwen took charge and apparently takes no prisoners when the safety of her man is involved!
Then what about that Gollum looking space alien? I laughed out loud when I saw him.... And whose the fresh young face on the bandit gang who Merlin had a vision about?
As always, I liked the banter between Merlin & Arthur. Looks like this will be a good finale season.

I do like this show, especially last season as it became a little more gritty. I'm sure the final season will be good. I can't wait til everyone knows about Merlin's ability.

Great season finale. Wrapped up several things and thank goodness the Uncle is now dead!
What was with the baby dragon (is that what it was?) at the very end? I hope Sy Fy brings us the final season.

I agree Morgana should be killed off (it won't happen, but I'd like it too). That whole traitor in our midst storyline (and now with the Uncle) is getting tiresome!

I watched it and knew immediately that "Uncle" was a traitor. It would probably be the end of the series, but I would like to see the girl Morgana killed off and soon.

Just watched part 1 of 'The Darkest Hour'. Who is this Uncle guy and are we going to have to watch another whole season of Merlin with a traitor amongst their midst?!? Come on people, figure it out!

I watched the first 2 episodes from last summer. I was surprised. It is pretty good. Only 11 more episodes and I will be ready for season 2 starting on April 2nd.

Ummm... Merlin is produced by BBC, so NBC really doesn't have much of a say about how long the series lasts.

NBC Universal owns the SYFY channel so this move makes a little sense. They have less concern with the SYFY channels ratings that the ratings of NBC.

Well at least NBC isn't going to do what's happened too many other times to good shows, put it on, when it starts going bad change it so much it stinks then cancle it, or don't give it over to sci fi till its cancellled and they don't want to pick it up and run it as their own. I hope Merlin does well over there.

Merlin season 2 will air on the SYFY channel starting on April 2, 2010. The first season aired on NBC. I saw the promo during Caprica.
Looks like I need to watch season 1 on my tivo before April.

I don't know if it is cancelled or not. Here is how it is doing in England on BBC.
Merlin: BBC One Renews Supernatural Series for Season Three; Will NBC Air It?
Of course they haven't aired season 2 yet. This is a good candidate for summer filler. I still have the first season on tivo, but I haven't watched it yet.

We watched, but did not like this take on the legend of King Arthur, Merlin, Uther, Morgana and Gwen. It is doubtful we will watch future episodes.

All episodes of Merlin are available on line, you won't get burned. I have watched them all. There are 13, not 11 episodes, in the season.

There are 11 episodes to this series that was originally shown in England on the BBC channel. Since the ratings were not that good I will wait until NBC airs all of the episodes before I watch any. I have been burned too many times by networks that won't air all of the shows.
