I saw a new TV ad for Dr Pepper featuring one of the members of the rock band KISS on ESPNEWS, and it must be Gene Simmons. Am I right?

I haven't seen this particular Dr. Pepper ad, but I have seen the ones with a Little Kiss. The kids are so cute dressed up as Kiss!

Yes, it's Gene, and if you get the full commercial, the person who comes in to tell him how to say "kiss", is actually Gene's son.

That commercial, for Cherry Dr. Pepper, has been on the air for a little while now. The soda is playing off those people who have called themselves "Doctor" over the years.

KISS had a song out named "Calling Dr. Love". The brand has also used Dr. Dre in another ad.
