Season finale was 2hrs to announce a winner in 5 seconds...today I rewound to see what I had in the semifinals, before the finale, and while I did enjoy seeing the standup of those who made it in the top ten, I kept falling asleep thru the uber long finale before I gave up and removed it for good. I already knew who won from seeing it the first time.
I think they (NBC) tried to rush it through to the conclusion.

Next week is the finale...will have comedians and special guests and Craig Robinson's band will perform...because stand up from the contestants is too straight forward.

Well they said next week will be the last 'performance' show...guess they want to wrap it up soon. I havent voted for a show since INXS or Supernova...got so mad at the results I ignore all the callin/vote online shows. But now is all male; some are lame, and if I knew she was gonna be unvoted I would have found a way to vote for her...

They just show up and the ones with the fewest calls (possibly online as well, no texting) don't perform. I guess that continues for a few weeks, as last night was 7. The bits are shorter than the audition/performance tryouts.

They seem to stick this show & AGT anywhere they want in the schedule & sometimes it's 60 minutes or 120. Anybody else having a hard time keeping up with it?

It was 2hrs, and I still can't figure out why some made it and others didn't...watched 3 times because I kept nodding off, still don't get it.

I guess the semi finals are LA. But, there were only auditions in LA & NY? Sooo different from their international season.

Is it my imagination or did one of the comics imply the semifinals are in LA? They started to type "Los Ang" in the closed captioning (and a couple of the LA ones said their red envelopes were empty)

That's true it does seem long even though the acts are short. You would think they would do a better job editing & give you more of the acts especially with 2 hours.

We watched a couple of seasons ago, but the exposure to their acts was so short you couldn't really get much out of it. Haven't watched since.

I can't take it. NBC is just getting too carried away with their 2 hour reality shows. I watched the first 70 minutes & couldn't watch any more.
