Fluids are fine and the engine is not running hot. Checked the electrical connector, used some dielectric cleaner and the problem was resolved. I have the same software that the dealer uses and I can get updates free online so why tale it to the dealer and pay them $65 just to say there's nothing wrong and have the light come back on a few miles down the road?

If the engine was hot or misfiring, I would shut it down pronto and call for a tow.
