About the same, even though gas prices were inflated right before the holiday. :(

A year ago is so far back to remember but I think I did about the same amount of driving or maybe a little bit less. I drove about 100 miles this year on labor day weekend while out geocaching. My plans were to go camping but those plans fell through or I would have driven probably 250 or more miles round trip to drive to the camping spot we were going to go to.

It isn't just Labor Day or other Holiday driving it is every day I have to weigh the value of driving for pleasure.

I am supposed to remember how much driving I did last year? I don't remember how much I did last week. I think we stayed in town last year, too. This year we went downtown, stayed at a motel and went to three ballgames we had tickets for.

Well with the children back to school and their parents back to work ( if they have a JOB ) !! Its time for another trip !! Time for the Peterson poker run to Key West Florida .. Hope it doesn't rain as I hate to drive with rain gear on !! You got it,, I will be riding my Honda VTX 1800.. This charity run is always a great fund drive that bring in a lot of participants from all over the US.. I will start Thursday the 15th and will be back on the 20th.. Won't have room for PC so I will update when I return.. Sorry GasBuddy with the limited amount of gas I use on this run it won't make much "cents" to use your capabilities on this trip !! Anyway now that the holiday week end is over I expect the gas prices will go down again !!

About the same. We usually don't travel, use the extra time to get things done around the house. The wife had to work so that stopped us from going anywhere.

It would have been tough to do less driving than I did on Labor Day weekend last year, but I believe I pulled it off. 22 miles round trip for my Saturday shift, then not another inch the rest of the weekend.

Much of my driving, even during a long weekend like Labor Day,is to and from clients. Business is down from last year, so less driving.
