DOE projects lower
Wednesday, November 19, 2008
Bulk Transporter -- With a weak economy projected to continue through most of 2009, along with lower crude oil prices, the average diesel price in 2009 is projected to be $1.08 lower than the average in 2008, according to the Short-Term Energy Outlook, a monthly report from the Department of Energy (DOE).

DOE is predicting that prices next year will average about $2.73 per gallon. That compares to last week's price of $2.809 per gallon, 13.5 cents less than the week before. The price of diesel has been in a nose-dive since mid-July.

The 2009 narrowing of margins reflects a projected slowing of the growth in distillate fuel usage outside the United States and a weakening of refining margins during the economic slowdown, according to the DOE report.

Just as with gasoline. Conserve! Conserve! Grow as much of your own food as you can.
Buy in bulk. Buy locally from farmers. Pick your own fruit, where possible. Buy mostly unprocessed foods. Stay away from the ripoff stores.

I like how we can tell what the prices are going to be before we even get there... something really wrong with this picture.

this new generation of morons w/degrees.........shows you that something in our education system is severely flawed. like the profs........for starters......

the whole business world's exec's and management has their collective arsusbuttikus in the beachhead.....deeply

you wouldn't even recognize this game as..... corporate baseball anymore......

more like grand theft auto..........i mean assets!

i know cute....clever.......maybe............but the point is: we all pay.......even us folk that were educated correctly.....and are older...

at least the 3 or 4 ceo's from detroit could have buddied up and flown on 1 corporate jet instead of 4.........or 3 or whatever........the colliefornia congressman......made it look like game over.......

bankruptcy is the right alternative for these folks.......not government lunches.....breakfasts and dinners........in my humble opinion

No such good news for truckers... This $h*t used to be CHEAPER than gasoline. For crying out loud it's easier to make!! There's some real profiteering going on around here. It's no wonder refineries have put 4 foot thick concrete walls up.
