I'd like to say diesel is low -- but it's because gas is high. Diesel at $4.09 here, gas at $4.13.

The headline and story are two different things -- funny how so many people still comment on ND -- try googling the headline and find the real story. There's lots of congestion in New Town, Watford City and Williston, ND -- probably more at rush hour than the cities mentioned -- but this story is not about ND folks.
Diesel below regular in many places in Oregon -- but gas is at $4.23 average.

as long as diesel is 50 - 70 cents more / gal, it's not going to change economic conditions in the US since most of the goods are transported by diesel powered 18-wheelers.

Good for ND. Now they just have to deal with the influx of people.

I see no mention of a city in North Dakota but with prosperity comes more people and more vehicles on the same small roads.
